Step 1

Take Finasteride daily

  • Take one 1mg Finasteride tablet every day, at roughly the same time each day.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or break the tablets.
  • You can take Finasteride with or without food — it doesn’t affect absorption.

Step 2

Apply Minoxidil twice daily

  • Apply 1ml of Minoxidil 5% solution to a clean, dry scalp twice a day — once in the morning and once at night.
  • Massage gently into the thinning areas of your scalp and leave to dry naturally — don’t rinse off.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after applying. Allow at least 4 hours before washing your hair or getting your scalp wet.

Be patient with results

  • You may experience temporary increased shedding in the first few weeks — this is normal and indicates the treatment is working.
